Desert Mountain is made up of 32 “Villages” within the community. Each village is gated and has their special HOA fee’s just for that village.
I like to break down the villages in thirds based on distance to the main entrance gate to the community.
In my opinion there are benefits to living in all villages based on your own personal needs and desires.
Lower Villages consist of Gambel Quail and Preserve, Sunrise, Eagle Feather, The Hacienda’s, Desert Hills, Sonoran Ridge, Sonoran Cottage & Sonoran Enclave, Lone Mountain I & II, Mountain Skyline, Turquoise Ridge, Deer Run.
For example those that choose to live in the Lower Villages choose so for a few reasons:
Drive distance to the main gate for faster access on and off property to access the grocery stores and other services. Two facilities are located in the lower villages. Sonoran Club is the perfect place to work out, meet for coffee, and is the main gathering place for EVERYTHING not related to golf. Close by is the Renegade golf course, practice range, Hideout restaurant, and the Jim Flick Performance center.
